A Catalina Island Classic: The 1965 English Mini Moke

This 1965 Mini Moke, originally a left-hand drive export model, spent the majority of its life as part of the Catalina Island hire fleet. It came into the workshop and we started restoration. During restoration it was purchased by a customer, and the project took on a more personalised direction. The new owner requested several upgrades, including a larger engine and the conversion to right-hand drive. To complement the new look, a set of Cupra S wheels was added, enhancing the car’s modern appeal while maintaining its classic spirit.

Throughout the process, the car’s original colour—the shade it wore during its Catalina Island days—was carefully restored, ensuring the Moke retained its nostalgic charm.
