Land Rover-Inspired

Masterpiece:
The 1965 Custom Mini Moke

This 1965 Mini Moke, a true standout in the workshop, was one of the most memorable builds we ever undertook. The owner, a passionate Land Rover enthusiast, wanted his Moke to exactly match the rugged, classic aesthetic of his Series One Land Rover. The result is a bespoke, one-of-a-kind Moke that beautifully blends the charm of both vehicles.

The Moke was painted in Land Rover’s signature mid bronze green, perfectly complementing the Land Rover’s distinctive colour. Custom hood and seat cushions were made to match the canvas covering on his Land Rover, further unifying the two vehicles.

Beyond the visual similarities, the car also received several upgrades, including an engine enhancement and disc brakes, providing improved performance while retaining the Moke's classic appeal. We fitted a bespoke stainless steel exhaust, tailored to the owner’s specifications, making this Moke as unique in sound as it is in style.

In addition to the performance and cosmetic upgrades, the Moke was fitted with a hidden USB charging port, and also a rare Lucas heater originally designed for Land Rovers—a quirky yet charming feature that harkens back to the era of practical, rugged vehicles.

This ground-up rebuild stands as a testament to the owner's vision and attention to detail, creating a Mini Moke that honors both the spirit of the past and the demands of a personal, customised future.
